Working at the intersection of law, imagination, and strategy, the LPP Program affords Scholars the unique opportunity to explore how change happens at the federal, state, and local levels, as well as the role of lawyers in impacting it. It serves as a platform for our Scholars to pursue their individual policy interests and propose creative and meaningful solutions to some of the most pressing issues of our day. It brings together students who have different perspectives and different areas of interest (e.g., civil rights, criminal justice, executive power, education, financial reform, health care, immigration, technology policy), but they share the desire to make a meaningful difference in the everyday lives of individuals and communities.
