Jason Guidangen, LAW ’26, is a 2024 Law & Public Policy Scholar and Beasley Scholar at Temple University Beasley School of Law. Jason graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2020 with a B.A. in Government with Liberal Arts Honors and a Certificate in Security Studies.
Before law school, Jason worked as a government affairs associate for Equality Texas, a leading statewide LGBTQ+ advocacy group. Jason provided legislative tracking, research, and lobbying support services for the organization and its allies over the course of two state legislative sessions. Jason also facilitated other projects, such as tracking book bans between sessions and compiling data for the organization’s legislative scorecard.
This summer, Jason is interning at The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights. Jason’s policy interests include international affairs, civil rights, citizenship and immigration, comparative law, and governance.
