JOB OPPORTUNITIES/RA & TA POSITIONS

The Temple 10-Q (Temple Law School’s Business Law e-Magazine) is Hiring – Apply Now

The The Temple 10-Q was founded in 2014 by Professor Jonathan Lipson, originally as a quarterly print publication.  It converted to an electronic weekly within several years.  Professors Lipson, Monroe and Broder are the Faculty Editors, who work with a Senior Student Editor, as well as a fairly large team of Student Editors and Law School Staff.  The 10-Q has recently started a podcast series of interviews with members of Temple’s business law community, The Temple 10-Q&A. The Temple 10-Q features regular contributions by alumni, students, and faculty on various aspects of their business law related work. The The Temple 10-Q is hiring for four positions: (i) Senior Student Editor; (ii) Digital and Social Media Coordinator; (iii) Novel Content Editor; and (iii) Student Editor.  Details about the positions can be found here.  The 10-Q hires one of each of the first three, and can hire up to three of the last position (Student Editor).   These are all part-time jobs, which generally require a year’s commitment, from May-May.  For more information, or if you have questions on the roles and responsibilities of students who work with The 10-Q, please reach out to Andrew LeDonne (aledonne@temple.edu).  If you wish to apply for one or more of these positions, please email your resume and transcript to The 10-Q at temple10qjobs@gmail.com.  Please indicate in the subject line which position or positions you wish to apply for (you may apply for more than one).

The Community Fund for Black Bar Applicants

The Community Fund for Black Bar Applicants was founded by Octavia Carson, J.D.  The mission is to provide $500 grants to Black bar exam applicants across the United States. This mission stems out of a desire to diversify the legal profession and raise the percentage of Black attorneys in the United States from 5% to 20% by 2024.  Students can register for the fund here and each time the fund has $500 they will donate it to the first applicant in line to receive a grant. Students can apply multiple times but may be moved to the end of the list after they receive the first grant.
