Description
Anatomy for Lawyers, the award winning CLE series developed and taught by Professor Samuel D. Hodge, Jr. will expand in March 2018 into a four week CLE offering that will provide a joint certificate in Medicine and Law with a focus on Neuroanatomy.

A disk impinging upon a nerve root, carpel tunnel syndrome and spinal cord injuries are staples of personal claims, and traumatic brain injuries have become common place. Most practitioners, however, have little knowledge of the anatomical constructions of the nervous systems and how an injury to a unit of the central or peripheral nervous systems play such a critical role in a personal injury claim. This course will take place in the Anatomy Lab of Temple Medical School. Following a multiple media discussion of the anatomical and physiological function of these parts, the audience will proceed to the anatomy lab to view the components of the nervous system in their entirety through a dissection of the human body.

Upon successful completion of the program, attorneys will receive the appropriate CLE credits and certificates in Medicine and Law from both the law and medical schools.
