Information Regarding Tax Documents<\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n

Federal 1098-T Tax Form<\/strong><\/p>\n

Temple University has issued a Federal 1098-T form to all eligible students, reporting tuition, fees, and any scholarships or grants applied to their accounts during the 2025 calendar year. The reported information is used to determine eligibility for educational tax credits. Details on how to access your 1098-T are available here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Specific tax questions should be directed to your tax preparer or adviser. For general questions about the 1098-T, you can review the 1098-T Tax Reporting information<\/a><\/strong> on the university\u2019s website or contact the Bursar\u2019s Office at 215.204.7269 or bursar@temple.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Federal W-2 Form<\/strong><\/p>\n

Students who were paid by Temple University in 2025 were issued a W-2 by Temple\u2019s Human Resources Department in January. The W-2 forms are maintained by Tax Management Services and are available on TUPortal. Please email hrpaynra@temple.edu<\/a> if you cannot access your W-2.<\/p>\n

Environmental Mentoring Program now accepting applications<\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n

The American College of Environmental Lawyers (ACOEL) is now accepting applications from interested law students for its Mentorship Program. ACOEL is a professional organization of distinguished environmental lawyers dedicated to maintaining and improving the ethical practice and development of environmental law. Membership is by invitation only, and members are recognized by their peers as preeminent in the field of environmental law. Members of ACOEL have volunteered to act as mentors to law students interested in pursuing a career in environmental law. More information on the program and how to apply can be found at this link<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This panel discussion, Centering Justice in the Clean Energy Transition<\/strong>, will connect the topics of affordable utilities and energy justice, discussing how to ensure that low-income residents are not overburdened or left behind in the clean energy transition. Founded in 1935 in Philadelphia, the Justinian Society is a legal organization comprised of attorneys, judges and law students of Italian ancestry. Members are engaged in activities directed toward fostering a spirit of good fellowship, maintaining honor and dignity of the legal profession, performing civic duties, administering justice, and promoting the study of law.<\/p>\n

Temple Law’s chapter has been dormant for a few years now and we are trying to revive it. We invite not only students of Italian ancestry but also any students interested in Italian culture and the contributions Italians and Italian-Americans have made to the study and practice of law.<\/p>\n

Justinian Society leadership will be present to answer any questions you may have about the larger organization.<\/p>\n

So, please stop by on March 19 for some Santucci’s Pizza, courtesy of the Justinian Society of Philadelphia, and let us know if you’d like to join us!<\/p>\n
