The mentorship program is for local law students who have an interest in tax. Students are matched with tax professionals in the Philadelphia area and will meet (in-person or online) with their mentors a minimum of twice from March-June. Any students interested in participating in the spring mentorship program may sign up here: <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSfZT6AEHylqXUcqprzdDaj1OOgE8nWHh4YuanDMZokqxv57xA\/viewform\">Mentee Interest Form<\/a>. Responses are requested by <strong>February 28<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3><strong><em>All May 2025 Graduates \u2013 Graduation Application due Friday, March 7<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>The Graduation Application is now open for the May 2025 graduating class<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Students who plan to graduate in May 2025 <strong>must apply to graduate<\/strong>\u00a0through the University TUPortal\/Self Service Banner system. This application must be completed by <strong>Friday, March 7, 2025<\/strong>\u00a0for all law May 2025 graduates. <em>Students enrolled in dual degree programs will have to submit a separate graduation application for each degree.<\/em>\u00a0The graduation application is an easy and fast application to complete, but failing to complete it by the deadline can cause a delay in receiving your diploma.<\/p>\n<p>Please follow the instructions below to apply for graduation.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sign in to <strong>TUPortal<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Click on the <strong><em>Student Tools<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0tab at the top of the page.<\/li>\n<li>Go to the <strong><em>Records<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0section which is located on the right side of the page.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong><em>Apply to Graduate<\/em><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Confirm that the program listed is correct (should be: Current Program \u2013 Juris Doctor)<\/li>\n<li>Select a Graduation term \u00a0\u2013 Spring 2025 should be the only option.<\/li>\n<li>Review and submit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You should receive a confirmation email within 24 hours of submitting your application. FEC<\/em>\u00a0capped a decades-long drive to tilt influence in US elections toward wealthy donors, undermining democratic norms of self-government. The proposed For Our Freedom constitutional amendment, which has passed Congress and been ratified by 22 states, would nullify that decision and return campaign financing regulation to state and federal legislators.
