At this time, Information Technology Services recommends <strong><em>not installing<\/em><\/strong> this upgrade, as you may encounter compatibility issues with various applications used at the university.<\/p>\n<p>Once our vendors certify that key applications used in our environment are compatible, we will notify you that it is safe to install this upgrade.<\/p>\n<p>Questions? Please contact the Technology Support Center at <a href=\"https:\/\/tuhelp.temple.edu\/\">tuhelp.temple.edu<\/a> (click Chat or Request Help) or call <strong>215-204-8000<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3><em><strong>Important: Microsoft and Apple Upcoming Operating System Updates and Examplify Compatibility<\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n<p>Microsoft and Apple have announced the upcoming release of new operating systems Windows 11 24H2 and macOS Sequoia, though the official dates are not yet available.<\/p>\n<p>ExamSoft is currently testing Examplify\u2019s compatibility with these new operating systems. Certifying Examplify\u2019s compatibility can only be completed after final versions of the new operating systems have been released because Microsoft and Apple may make key changes right up until release.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Exam-takers should not update their devices to the new Windows and Mac operating systems until we announce Examplify\u2019s compatibility with the new versions<\/strong>.\u00a0This includes beta versions that may be available to exam-takers prior to their official release dates.<\/p>\n<p>If you are concerned that your operating system may automatically update, please check out <a href=\"https:\/\/support.examsoft.com\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/11145629796877-How-to-Disable-Automatic-Operating-System-Updates\">this article for information on disabling automatic updates<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"section-7\"><strong><em>PA Voter Registration Deadline for November 5th Election \u2013 October 21st<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Do you need to register to vote in PA? The program is run by the nonprofit Empire Mock Trial in partnership with the Pennsylvania Bar Association.<\/p>\n<p>Not only would you be performing a true public service, but the experience is entertaining (the students are great) and this would be educational for you, too: you&#8217;d get the experience of sitting in a real courthouse (the Center for Criminal Justice) and hearing arguments from the other side of the jury box or bench.<\/p>\n<p>No prior mock trial experience is required given we are looking for students to serve as jurors. However, if you are interested in presiding, then prior experience is necessary.<\/p>\n<p>The report times are 9:15 AM and 2:30 PM on 9\/28 and 9\/29. It will feature a 4-6 pm screening of &#8220;Unseen,&#8221; a documentary film about Pedro, a visually impaired undocumented migrant who wants to become a social worker.<\/p>\n<p>The lunchtime panel, on <strong>Monday, September 30th from 12-1 pm in K2A<\/strong>, will feature Qudsiya Naqui, a TLS alum and the impact producer for the film, as well as Nermeen Arastu, a professor at CUNY Law who has published on disability and immigration.
