In order to register for an independent, for-profit, or repeat practicum placement, students must complete the\u00a0<u><a href=\"https:\/\/law.temple.edu\/engage\/law-practicum-approval-form\/\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\">Practicum Approval Form<\/a><\/u> by 12PM on July 25, 2024. Please note that Add\/Drop will take place in August. Wait-lists will open at that time.<\/p>\n<h3><strong><em>July 2024 Bar Prep: Start Date and Summer Support (Survey &#8211; Please Complete!)<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>As the spring semester winds down and we start to think about summer, we want to see how we can help with your summer bar prep study plan.\u00a0<strong>Graduating students who anticipate taking the July 2024 bar exam should begin their bar prep course by Wednesday, May 15<sup>th<\/sup>, 2024.<\/strong> This allows you the opportunity to take some time off for commencement without getting behind in your bar studies.<\/p>\n<p>We will continue to offer our summer bar support programs as we have in past summers and encourage you to take advantage of these programs. Highlight of our summer programs are listed below. General Bar Prep Session for Class of 2024<\/u><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><u>All<\/u> students should plan to attend our information session about getting started with bar prep, scheduled for <strong>Tuesday, May 14<sup>th<\/sup> at 6 pm<\/strong> via Zoom.\u00a0 This session will cover how to make the most of your summer bar prep course.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em><u>Supplemental Bar Prep on MEE Topics<\/u><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We encourage all students to attend supplemental bar support lectures on specific topics (over Zoom).\u00a0 Members of the faculty will present on MEE topics, work through sample problems, and answer your questions. As you know, there are some essay topics that can be challenging and new to test-takers.\u00a0 These sessions are designed review key concepts, apply the concepts in sample problems, and answer your specific questions.\u00a0<u>Results from the survey above will be used to determine the topics of the lectures offered this summer<\/u>.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em><u>Simulated In-Person Practice Exam<\/u><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We will hold an in-person, two-day bar exam in early July to provide bar candidates the opportunity to complete a full simulated bar exam in test-like conditions. A total eclipse will travel the country. Although Philadelphia is off the path of totality, we can expect to see a partial eclipse with 90.1% of the moon covering the sun. We want to experience this with you! The eclipse will start around 2:08PM with the sky darkening, but we will not see maximum coverage until 3:23PM. You cannot see the eclipse with the naked eye, so please come to the Help Desk between 2-3PM to pick up a solar viewer, Moon pies, and Eclipse gum (while supplies last). A valid TUid can be your physical or mobile OWLcard.<\/li>\n<li>Flight operates 7 days per week from 6 PM to 2 AM, and the shuttles arrive at each drop-off and pick-up location every 15 minutes during this service time. The service continues to operate in a modified form during university breaks.<\/li>\n<li>Flight serves the Main Campus\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/safety.temple.edu\/services-programs\/main-campus-patrol-map\"><strong>patrol zone<\/strong><\/a>. It operates in two loops \u2013 the north loop, which covers the northern parts of the patrol zone, and the south loop, which covers the southern and eastern parts of the patrol zone. Shuttles on each loop follow a fixed route around that loop.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Flight shuttles can be\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/flight.transloc.com\/routes\"><strong>tracked in real time<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0using the TransLoc App during hours of operation.\u00a0Use the website or app to plan your arrival at the shuttle stop most convenient for you \u2013 the shuttle driver will stop for you if they see you at the stop, but the shuttle will continue on its way if no one is waiting.
