This application must be completed by <strong>Friday, March 1, 2024<\/strong> for all law May 2024 graduates. <em>Students enrolled in dual degree programs will have to submit a separate graduation application for each degree.<\/em>\u00a0The graduation application is an easy and fast application to complete, but failing to complete it by the deadline can cause a delay in receiving your diploma.<\/p>\n<p>Please follow the instructions below to apply for graduation.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sign in to <strong>TUPortal<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Click on the <strong><em>Student Tools<\/em><\/strong> tab at the top of the page.<\/li>\n<li>Go to the <strong><em>Records<\/em><\/strong> section which is located on the right side of the page.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong><em>Apply to Graduate<\/em><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Confirm that the program listed is correct (should be: Current Program \u2013 Juris Doctor)<\/li>\n<li>Select a Graduation term \u00a0\u2013 Spring 2024 should be the only option.<\/li>\n<li>Review and submit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You should receive a confirmation email within 24 hours of submitting your application. The email will include information on how your name will appear on the diploma. Bradway High School Mock Trial Championship<\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n<p class=\"x_elementToProof\">For the past four decades, the Temple Law&#8217;s Legal Education and Participation Program (<span class=\"markoq92aoj0h\" data-markjs=\"true\" data-ogac=\"\" data-ogab=\"\" data-ogsc=\"\" data-ogsb=\"\">LEAP<\/span>) has partnered with the Young Lawyers Division of the Philadelphia Bar Association to put on the John S. Bradway High School Mock Trial Championship, the Philadelphia regional high school mock trial competition.\u00a0 Now it is your turn to help give back to the community and raise the next generation of advocates in Philadelphia.\u00a0 Over the next six weeks, dozens of practicing attorneys, judges, and other volunteers will be gathering to judge rounds of this year\u2019s mock trial, and you could join them.\u00a0 No trial advocacy experience is required, but it is always welcomed, and volunteers can serve as either presiding judges or scoring jurors, depending on their experience with mock trial competitions.<\/p>\n<p>With 31 competing teams from across the city, the competition needs <u>sixty<\/u>\u00a0judges each on\u00a0<b>February 2<\/b>\u00a0and\u00a0<b>February 9<\/b>\u00a0alone! \u00a0We have both daytime\u00a0<b>(February 2 and March 2)<\/b>\u00a0and nighttime\u00a0<b>(February 9 and February 23<\/b>) rounds available, most rounds are downtown, easily accessible from the Broad Street Line.\u00a0 We can even take a limited number of just-in-case volunteers for make-up rounds at Temple on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.<\/p>\n<p>To sign up for any round of competition, just go here:\u00a0<a id=\"OWA2fbee67c-5d2f-5194-ad71-20bc2e7db869\" class=\"x_x_x_OWAAutoLink\" title=\"Original URL: https:\/\/philadelphiabar.org\/?pg=YLDMockTrial. The service continues to operate in a modified form during university breaks.<\/li>\n<li>Flight serves the Main Campus\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/safety.temple.edu\/services-programs\/main-campus-patrol-map\"><strong>patrol zone<\/strong><\/a>. It operates in two loops \u2013 the north loop, which covers the northern parts of the patrol zone, and the south loop, which covers the southern and eastern parts of the patrol zone. For these future prosecutors, the Scholarship program covers the cost of the bar application and preparation up to $5,000.
