Labor Day Law School Building Hours<\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n

The Klein Building will be open during Labor Day weekend! Regular business hours will be in effect for Saturday and Sunday, September 2-3. The Klein Building will be open from 9 am – 5 pm on Labor Day, Monday, September 4th.<\/p>\n

No Stickers on Lockers<\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n

As a reminder, do not stick any items (like stickers<\/span>) inside or outside of your locker.<\/p>\n

Antitrust and Economic Regulation: ABA Antitrust Section Student Ambassador Program<\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n
\n

The ABA Section of Antitrust Law is taking applications for\u00a0<\/span>the Law Student Ambassador Program<\/b>\u00a0<\/span>for law students interested in careers in antitrust, consumer protection, or privacy. Law Student Ambassadors receive a number of benefits from the program:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Assignment to a substantive committee in the Section<\/li>\n
  2. Priority placement in the Mentor Program<\/li>\n
  3. Opportunities to volunteer in the Section<\/li>\n
  4. Monthly digest of programs that may be of interest<\/li>\n
  5. Liaison to law school and opportunity to host a “Why antitrust\u2026” panel<\/li>\n
  6. Call with other LSAs and section leadership every other month<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Students interested in antitrust, consumer protection, or privacy are encouraged to apply to the program.     The Temple Law Trial Advocacy Program will host five events in their “Lunch with Litigators” series during the Fall 2023 semester.\u00a0 Each event will have extraordinary litigators, people who will discuss their careers, offer advocacy lessons, and give you a chance to ask your questions and network.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Cutting Sign to the Legal Profession Conference – September 29th through 30th, 2023<\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n

    The University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law in partnership with the University of Idaho College of Law, the University of Washington School of Law, and Ballard Spahr is hosting the Cutting Sign to the Legal Professions event. This program will be held in person from September 28 to October 1 in Salt Lake City, Utah. It is open to law students of Native American\/American Indian, Alaska Native, First Nations, and North American Indigenous heritage. Student registration is due Wednesday, September 13<\/b>.<\/p>\n
