Nicholas Cipriani Inn of Court – Family Law<\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n

An opportunity is available for two Temple Law students to participate in the Nicholas Cipriani Inn of Court, a professional association of Judges, attorneys and law students interested in family law in Philadelphia.\u00a0 The group meets once per month, usually on a Wednesday evening from 5:30-7 or 7:30pm for cocktails, dinner and an educational presentation on a family law practice issue.\u00a0 This is a great networking and learning opportunity for law student interested in practicing family law. \u00a0For the Fall, the meetings are September 21, October 12, November 2 and December 7; in the Spring the meetings are February 1, March 14, April 12 and May 10 \u2013 you must be able to commit to attending most meetings. The meetings take place in Center City.<\/p>\n

If you are interested, please email Professor Sarah Katz at sarah.katz@temple.edu<\/span><\/a> by Friday September 9th<\/sup> at 5pm<\/strong>.\u00a0 Priority will be given to 3Ls and 4LEs. If more than 2 students express interest, the participating students will be selected by lottery.<\/p>\n

The Appellate Project’s 2022-2023 Mentorship Program – Application Deadline September 12<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n

TAP’s Mentorship Program is the first national effort focused on empowering law students of color to pursue appellate work. We pair law students of color interested in appellate practice with mentors in the appellate field. We also provide students with appellate-focused resources throughout the year: clerkship support, networking opportunities with the appellate bar, connections with judges, skill-building workshops, guidance on appellate job opportunities, and more. The Temple Law Name Change Project – Volunteer Today! – Mandatory training on September 7th<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n

The Temple Law Name Change Project is a law student-run volunteer clinic. We support LGBTQ+ individuals in the Philadelphia community to access name changes.\u00a0 You can work directly with clients as soon as September! To volunteer, please attend one of the mandatory training listed below. All class years are welcome. Mandatory training on September 7th from 12-1pm in K1C or 8-9 pm in K1D.<\/p>\n
