I. Herman Stern Moot Court Competition – April 20 4PM<\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n

The four finalists for this year’s I. Herman Stern Moot Court Competition:<\/p>\n

Mary Beth Griffin (on behalf of Appellant) v. Kayla Fisher (on behalf of Appellee)\u00a0and Andrew Perrong (on behalf of Appellant) v. Bria Smith (on behalf of Appellee)<\/div>\n

The four finalists will be arguing a Second Amendment case that is currently pending in the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.\u00a0 The final round of the Stern Competition will take place on Wednesday, April 20, at 4 pm<\/u><\/b> via zoom, and our students will be arguing in front of a panel comprised of the Honorable Elizabeth Hey (US Magistrate Judge-EDPA), the Honorable Dan Anders (Philadelphia CCP Judge), and Lawrence Goode, Supervisor of the Appeals Unit for the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office.<\/div>\n

MELTZER SUMMER FELLOWS – THROUGH THE SHELLER CENTER FOR SOCIAL JUSTICE<\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n

Meltzer Fellowships offer stipends of $1,000 to $3,000 for student projects focused on social justice, to be conducted during the summer of 2022. The application process is open to any interested law student, including students graduating this spring. \u00a0Students can work individually or as a team.
