{"id":2239,"date":"2021-07-02T18:45:43","date_gmt":"2021-07-02T18:45:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www2.law.temple.edu\/studentpost\/?p=2239"},"modified":"2021-07-02T18:45:43","modified_gmt":"2021-07-02T18:45:43","slug":"summer-2021-week-5","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www2.law.temple.edu\/studentpost\/summer-2021-week-5\/","title":{"rendered":"Summer 2021 &#8211; Week 5"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>COMMUNITY REMINDERS<\/h1>\n<h3><em><strong>Fall 2021 Registration Dates (Mark Your Calendars)<\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n<p>Registration will begin on July 8th and will take place in 3 steps:<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul type=\"circle\">\n<li>During Step 1, rising 4LE, 3LD and 3LE students are permitted to register for a live client experiential program (External Clinic or Externship Course).\u00a0<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"> Step 1 will take place from Thursday July 8 through Friday July 9<\/span>.<\/li>\n<li>During Step 2, students will select their priority course(s) in order of class level (4LE, 3LE, 3LD, 2L and 2LE).\u00a0 <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Step 2 begins for the 4LEs on Monday July 12 and runs the entire week with each class level starting on the subsequent day.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>During Step 3, students will register for the remainder of all of their courses in order of class level ( 4LE, 3LE, 3LD, 2L and 2LE).\u00a0 <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Step 3 begins for 4LEs Monday July 19 and runs the entire week with each class level starting on the subsequent day.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Waitlists will not be maintained or opened until Add\/Drop which will begin on Monday, August 9 and end on Friday August 27 (details will be sent in August).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><em><strong>Temple University Email Migration &#8211; Support and Questions<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n<p>How will you know if your account was already moved? Arsht Fellowship<\/strong> <\/em><\/h3>\n<p>The Roxana C. Arsht Fellowship is to encourage law students, recent law school graduates and attorneys newly admitted to the Bar of the Supreme Court of Delaware to pursue careers in non-profit sectors in Delaware. In an effort to encourage attorneys to work in public interest positions, the Fellowship offers financial assistance for three years to each recipient selected. Applicants must apply for the Fellowship within three years of law school graduation, and must secure a position with a non-profit organization that provides legal services that benefit the Delaware community, underrepresented groups, or indigent person in Delaware. An applicant\u2019s annual salary may not exceed $63,000 to be eligible for the Fellowship. For the year 2021, the Fellowship Committee will accept applications from August 16 through October 15, 2021. A decision will be announced by December 15, 2021, with one award being approved. The amount of the award will vary each year as it is based on the annual interest earned by the Fellowship Fund. Recipients will have two opportunities to pass the Delaware Bar exam, and if necessary, they must sit for the exam in consecutive years to continue their eligibility.
