This information will be distributed to admitted students and will help them locate the housing that best suits their needs. Thank you in advance for your participation.<\/p>\n<h3><em><strong>How to Request Materials from the Law Library for Contactless Checkout<\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n<p>If you would like to request an item from the Law Library please complete this <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSdybFuzWDFPBjMN-SlLhc0gaszPYH2tMALif8cMOAp0jmQYiQ\/viewform?usp=sf_link\">form<\/a>.\u00a0 You will receive an email from a staff member at the Law Library when your item is ready for pick up. Please allow at least 2 hours for your request to be processed during normal library hours. Requests received outside library hours will be processed the next working day.\u00a0 You will be able to pick up your items from a cart on the second floor of Klein Hall. Items not picked up in seven days will be returned to the collection.<\/p>\n<h3><em><strong>Study Aids Available through the Library<\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n<p>Have you signed up for online access to CALI, Quimbee, the West Academic Study Aid Library, and the Wolters Kluwer Online Study Aid Library?\u00a0 \u00a0Check out this <a href=\"https:\/\/guides.temple.edu\/lawlibraryonline\/study\">link<\/a> for more information about these resources and how to sign up.\u00a0 If you have any questions just ask by emailing <a href=\"mailto:tulawlib@temple.edu\">tulawlib@temple.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3><strong><em>Summer Work Study Application Process &amp; Deadlines<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Now is the time to apply for summer work study.\u00a0 Even if you don\u2019t know where you will be working this summer, or if you will even need work study, you should still complete the process and make sure your application is filed on time.<\/p>\n<p>Summer Work-Study Application Deadlines:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>March 1st:\n<ul>\n<li>Complete the 2021-2022 FAFSA<\/li>\n<li>Complete the 2021-2022 Temple Law School Financial Aid Request Form (make sure to complete the Summer Work-Study Request section)<\/li>\n<li>Links to both applications can be found here: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.law.temple.edu\/resources\/financial-aid\/applying\/\">https:\/\/www.law.temple.edu\/resources\/financial-aid\/applying\/<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px;\">Employer information is not required to complete the financial aid forms. We will begin reviewing applications after the March 1st deadline has passed. Students who are eligible for Summer Work-Study will be notified via email. If you will be working with an off-campus employer (must be non-profit or government), you will need to complete a separate application for matching funds which will be available April 12th.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>April 12th:\n<ul>\n<li>Complete the Law Foundation Matching Grant Application<\/li>\n<li>After your matching grant application has been reviewed and approved you will receive an email with instructions to complete the Summer Work-Study payroll process prior to your start date.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Summer Work-Study period begins May 10th, 2021\u00a0 and ends August 13th, 2021.\u00a0 A more detailed explanation of what Summer Work-Study is and how you can apply for it can be found here: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.law.temple.edu\/resources\/financial-aid\/summer\/work-study\/\">https:\/\/www.law.temple.edu\/resources\/financial-aid\/summer\/work-study\/<\/a><\/p>\n<h3><em><strong>Upcoming Financial Aid Deadlines<\/strong> <\/em><\/h3>\n<p><em>Application for Financial Aid for the 2021-2022 Academic Year \u2013 DUE 3\/1\/2021<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Now is the time to begin the financial aid application process for the 2021-2022 academic year. The financial aid application process can be completed entirely online.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>STEP 1: Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA is available online at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fafsa.ed.gov\/\">www.fafsa.ed.gov<\/a>. Click FAFSA Renewal if you would like your 2021-2022 FAFSA information to be -re-filled with basic information from your 2020-2021 FAFSA record. School code &#8211; 003371<\/li>\n<li>STEP 2: Temple Law School Financial Aid Request Form. This online should be completed by students who are interested in borrowing student loans for the 2021-2022 Academic Year. The application can be accessed here\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/www4.law.temple.edu\/FinancialAidRequests\/ReturningStudent\">https:\/\/www4.law.temple.edu\/FinancialAidRequests\/ReturningStudent<\/a><\/li>\n<li>STEP 3: Student Loans<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>o Unsubsidized Loan: If this is your first time borrowing student loans as a Temple Law Student you will need to complete an electronic Master Promissory Note or complete a new online entrance interview. Returning Temple Law borrowers are not required to complete these applications again.<\/p>\n<p>o Graduate PLUS: A credit application is required regardless if you borrowed in previous semesters. The credit check application can be completed at\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/studentaid.gov\/app\/launchPLUS.action?plusType=gradPlus\">https:\/\/studentaid.gov\/app\/launchPLUS.action?plusType=gradPlus<\/a>. The 2021-2022 credit check application will not be available until May 1st, 2021. We will send an email reminder in early May letting you know when it is time to complete the application process. If you will be a new Direct Graduate PLUS loan borrower for 2021-2022, you should refer to the application instructions on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.law.temple.edu\/resources\/financial-aid\/loans\/\">Federal &amp; Private Loans page<\/a> of the law school website for details on applying for this loan.<\/p>\n<p><em>Summer 2020 Class Session \u2013 DUE 3\/1\/2021\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Please review the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.law.temple.edu\/Pages\/Current_Students\/Summer_Financial_Aid.aspx\">Summer Financial Aid Options<\/a> on the Law School website for detailed information about summer financial aid process and requirements.\u00a0 The Law School Financial Aid Office will contact you to schedule an appointment once you have completed all of the required forms. Summer financial aid appointments will start on March 6th and continue throughout the spring semester.<\/p>\n<p><em>Summer Work-Study Grants \u2013 DUE 3\/1\/2021\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>If you plan to apply for summer work-study you need to complete the Summer Work-Study Request section of the 2021-2022 Temple Law School Financial Aid Application. This mission stems out of a desire to diversify the legal profession and raise the percentage of Black attorneys in the United States from 5% to 20% by 2024.\u00a0 Students can register for the fund <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSfROiEn2LUprQGcyOwwsA3jvrRy_sX26VhMV2NGLysxl0nU8g\/viewform\">here<\/a> and each time the fund has $500 they will donate it to the first applicant in line to receive a grant.
