Get more information on which periods are covered and how to receive your refund at this link: http:\/\/septa.org\/pass-refund-info.html<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"section-4\"><strong>Wolters Kluwer Casebooks \u2013 Electronic Access<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>In partnership with\u00a0<strong>VitalSource<\/strong>, Wolters Kluwer is providing free digital e-textbooks for students who lost access to their purchased book or library resources due to a shift from in-person to online classes. It may take 24-48 hours for the books to be added, but they will be added. For more information regarding the VitalSource Helps Program, please read the full\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.businesswire.com\/news\/home\/20200316005263\/en\/\">press release<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>VitalSource Helps Access Instructions:<br \/>\n1. If you want to learn more about how economic activity is regulated in the United States, are interested in public policy issues, or simply wish to prepare yourself better for a career in nearly any field of law today, we want to hear from you!\u00a0 1Ls are especially encouraged to apply to be part of this engaging research team at the Penn Program on Regulation, directed by Prof. Coglianese. Full-time commitments for the summer are preferred, but interest in a part-time position may be considered. We can provide stipends of about $7,500 per position for full-time work throughout the summer due to an outside funding source.\u00a0 To be considered for a position, please send your resume and a cover letter explaining your background and interests to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:regulation@law.upenn.edu\">regulation@law.upenn.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Bar Exam &amp; MPRE Information<\/h2>\n<h3 id=\"section-14\"><strong>Bar Exam Tips \u2013 Week 14<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The Pennsylvania fingerprinting service for the bar exam, IdentoGO by IDEMIA, has been permitted to continue to operate in Pennsylvania as an essential business (many, although not all, of their facilities are open). However, it is important to note that though fingerprinting is an admission requirement for Pennsylvania, it is not an item that must be completed before the bar exam.<\/p>\n<p><em>Keep a look out for bar tips delivered to you each week this semester in the Post!\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<h3 id=\"section-15\"><strong>Important Changes to the 2020 MPRE\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>There are some important changes to the 2020 MPRE that all students should know about.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>August and October are the next available MPRE administrations. The MPRE is no longer administered during a single two-hour period on Saturday. Instead, students will select one of several two-hour appointment times on one of the two weekday test dates.<\/li>\n<li>The test will be administered on a computer at a Pearson VUE testing center. This is a new location compared to past administrations. Students will select a testing center when they schedule their test appointment.<\/li>\n<li><em>There is no late registration deadline<\/em>. The earlier students register with NCBE and schedule their appointment with Pearson VUE, the more likely they will be to get an appointment with their desired location, date, and test time.<\/li>\n<li>If students plan to seek accommodations under the ADA, they should apply for accommodations as soon as possible to allow NCBE time to review their application. Articles submitted for judging are encouraged to be of timely topics and have not been previously published. This contest is open to all law and LL.M students currently attending an ABA-accredited law school. The first-place winner will receive a number of awards including $2,500. A second and third place winner will also be selected.
