Student Legal Services Survey

Many schools across the country offer an SLS program already, wherein students pay a minimal fee of approximately $35 per semester and in exchange have unlimited access to an attorney and/or other legal representation, in the event that they are faced with any legal issues while enrolled at Temple. We are trying to collect data on student need for such a program, so if you get a chance to fill out this survey that would be really appreciated! RESPONSES ARE ALL ANONYMOUS! https://forms.gle/AGNbJm5pcJHGaztm6

UPCOMING EVENTS

Jessup International Moot Court Competition Tryouts 4/14-4/15

The Philip C. Jessup International Moot Court Competition is the world’s largest moot court competition. Topics covered include a variety of issues regarding public international law and hypothetical disputes between fictional countries before the International Court of Justice. During the fall semester, team activity will largely revolve around research and brief-writing, and mooting will be conducted in the spring. Temple Law has had success over the years in this competition, and we are confident that next year we will be able to field a fantastic team.

The Jessup team will hold tryouts this April 14 and 15. An excel sheet for time sign-ups will be circulated in the coming weeks. The tryout packet, including more detailed instructions, will be released on April 7. Interested students should bring a statement of interest and resume to the tryouts. Please contact joseph.oconnell@temple.edu, anand.tayal@temple.edu, or angie.stoltzfus@temple.edu with any questions.
