Join the newest members of the Temple Law family and your fellow classmates at this year’s annual 1L Community Service Project – the Glenwood Neighborhood Cleanup. Hands-on work brings immediate and much-needed impact. Roll up your sleeves and get to know your fellow classmates, our city, its special neighborhoods, and our local leaders at this annual kick-off service opportunity.

Upper Level Student Lockers
Upper level students can obtain a locker starting Monday, August 26th. Please stop by Barrack Hall, Suite 103 or email Kathy Wilson at kilson@temple.edu. Please include your year in law school. For those who are unable to come to Barrack Hall, Ms. Wilson will be in Klein Hall at the Help Desk on Monday August 26th and Tuesday August 27th from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Fall 2019 Experiential Courses – Openings Available
We are delighted to let you know that there are a few spots remaining in the following clinics: the Innocence Project, Housing Mediation, the Mazzoni Center, the City Solicitor, the Federal Defender, and Reentry Court. Please review the Course Bulletin for more details and Banner for the most up to date openings. In particular, you can learn more about Reentry Court here and here.
There are also two School Designed Practicums with spots remaining: Women Against Abuse and the Child Advocacy Unit of the Defender Association. Please review the Practicum Catalogue for more details: you will find the application procedure for Women Against Abuse beginning on page 4 and the Child Advocacy Unit on page 16. Add/Drop Help Desk Hours
Come to the Help Desk the week of August 26th from 11:30-1 p.m. and 4:30-6 p.m. if you need assistance finalizing your Fall 2019 schedule. The Help Desk is located on the second floor of Klein Hall near the entrance.
Engage and Explore: Student Organization Fair – Tuesday August 27th
Please join us on August 27th from 4:30-6:30PM. Temple Law School has over 30 student organizations and there are plenty of opportunities to get involved. Connect with the organization that matches your interests, gather information, and get involved. The Fair will be held on the first and second floors of Klein. General contact information for most organizations can be found on the website or you can connect directly with specific student leaders.
Campus Resources and Student Services Fair – September 4th
Please join us on September 4th 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. to meet representatives from the University, law school, and community to learn how you can be supported throughout law school. Campus Recreation, Barnes and Noble, the Wellness Resource Center, and more will be in Klein on the first and second floors. We hope to see you there!
Mindful Mondays – Weekly Mindfulness Begins September 9th
Everyone can participate in a 20-minute guided mindfulness meditation practice. Mindful meditation involves paying attention on purpose to the present moment without judgement. No experience is necessary. Starting Monday, September 9, 2019 join Professor deGuzman at noon in K5B.
Dean’s Invitation Forum & Luncheon
