To help foster and model creativity and innovation, the Program employs exercises and practices designed to equip the students for today\u2019s dynamic job market and changing practice world. Instead of the standard components of legal education \u2013 the casebook, oral arguments, law review notes, etc.\u2013 the Program engages students in a variety of both traditional policy advocacy and movement lawyering modes of work, working on everything from issue-based campaign strategy to white papers, legislation, factsheets, advocacy letters and written testimony, op-eds\/blog posts, presentations to scholars and practitioners, and beyond. These features enable Scholars to engage in complex problem-solving and \u201chit the ground\u201d running\u201d after graduation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
