The handling of a lawsuit in federal court is much different than state court practice. Not only are the stakes usually much higher but the federal court has its own Rules of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence. This four credit program will provide the practitioner with hands on and practical advice on how to handle a federal lawsuit from the filing of the first pleading to the trial of the case. The program will be taught by federal court judges, the Clerk of the Court and practitioners with vast experience in this arena.
