Compliance Practicums

The best education allows students to thoughtfully explore the big ideas that drive our society and as well as gain hands-on exposure to the skills to be effective problem solvers. Our compliance practicums are unique experiential learning opportunities where a student and full-time faculty member engage collaboratively to solve problems for a real client.

Compliance Practicums involve students becoming a member of compliance or legal departments in leading organizations.  Typically, they will work on developing and supporting the implementation of policies and controls designed to prevent, design and respond to potential violations of laws, regulations or industry standards.   Students work a minimum 12 hours per week, meet regularly with a faculty supervisor and attend four classes throughout the semester.

Compliance practicum placements are available at the following organizations:

  • Aramark
  • Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia
  • Temple University’s Health System
  • United States Attorney’s Office (USAO) for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania
